Work Experience

Duchamp & Sons Taster Evening – 19 January 2022.Aged 15-24? Interested in meeting new people and taking part in creative projects?

  • Collaborate with peers, artists and other creative practitioners to develop projects.
  • Gain new skills through making art, curating exhibitions, and organising music, performance, film, and other live events.
  • Meet other young people and make new friends.
  • Learn about creative careers and the diverse routes into the industry.
  • Take part in Gallery and studio visits around London and online.

We’re looking for new members of our youth collective, Duchamp & Sons. Work alongside artists, creative professionals and other young people on creative projects, get behind the scenes insight, and learn about diverse careers in the arts. We’re particularly interested in hearing from those based in East London and from backgrounds currently underrepresented in the arts.

The Cultural Leaders Youth Employment Scheme provides paid work for 6 young people (aged 18-30 years old) every 6 months with London charities @PoeticUnityProject, @TheatrePeckham1, and @BCAHeritage

Applications are now open for Cultural Leaders who will start on March 1st, 2022.

The Cultural Leaders will run poetry workshops, events, provide support for the community and learn about the daily operations of the charity they are designated to. The Cultural Leaders have helped each charity extend their impact and they have learned transferable skills they can use for future employment.
