ABOUT PLUGGED

Plugged is a music initiative encouraging wide participation in music making using technology. Through live events and workshops we encourage creative collaborations, connecting music-makers, young participants, and audiences from all musical and cultural backgrounds.
Plugged is managed by musicians and artists based in East London. The project has received funding from Arts Council England to run a series of events both online and in real life. Venue partners have included One Hoe Street, KukooLala Cafe and Trap Taproom on the Ravenswood Estate. More info here: www.plugged.org.uk

THE ROLE
The Content and Social Media Assistant will work with the Plugged team to help manage social media, promoting forthcoming events.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with planning social media campaigns to reach our targeted audiences and increase our project awareness.
  • Research community groups, influencers and potential collaborators for cross-promotion, and maintain a marketing database.
  • Assist with the collation of promotional material and writing copy; write and design weekly posts, research content ideas, and set up Facebook events. – Manage social media engagement. Support with the Facebook and YouTube live streams.
  • Assist with placing advertisements using Facebook Business Suite.
  • Assist with evaluating social media campaigns.

Business Grants
On 21 December 2021, the Government announced the introduction of further grant support for hospitality, leisure and accommodation businesses in England and applications for this grant are now open until 28 February 2022.
